Training
LRI regularly provides orientations, workshops and other services to help individuals and groups understand how programs that assess, develop and document individuals' effective workplace behaviors can support new and ongoing workforce and economic development activities within their organizations.
Please contact LRI to discuss your particular goals.
Developing people's soft skills, post-assessment
Assessment and Development Planning (ADP) is a 4 to 5 hour program during which managers learn to create Individual Development Plans for assessed workers. ADP ensures that workers and their managers are in agreement as to developmental activities; managers receive practical, hands-on experience that enables them to help workers develop soft skills over time.
LRI's online library contains an example of a Participant's Manual to help managers and supervisors create developmental plans from individual feedback reports (assessments) for individuals reporting to them. LRI can also provide a representative ppt of a typical ADP session.
Please contact LRI to discuss your specific needs - or to request any of the resources mentioned above.
Supervisor/Managerial Training: AccuVision Training System (ATS)
LRI's training programs for managers and supervisors develop the following skill sets, skills that are measured by our managerial and supervisory assessment programs. Each unit is typically a 6- to 8-hour training session that is delivered by organizations' staff, local faculty/trainers and others. Units cover:
- Team Building
- Situational Style of Interaction
- Influence
- Initiative
- Analysis and Problem Solving
Succession Planning
In many organizations succession planning's focus is on the highest levels of jobs. However, given the extraordinary number of managers, supervisors and other leaders who will be moving into retirement over the next 5 - 10 years, the need for a systematic approach to developing basic and operating managers must be addressed. A practical approach to addressing this challenge is presented. This page describes an overview to a practical and powerful approach to succession planning.
Web-Based Training
LRI offers two state-of-the-art, web-based programs for supervisor, managers and leaders:
- LeadersMark™. Leadersmark is a web-based training course designed for first-time leaders, managers or supervisors. It can also be used as refresher training for current leaders. The program is designed to help participants develop or improve the necessary skills to become effective leaders.

The Leader's Legal Resource Center (LLRC) is an internet-based method of delivering training, performance support, and assessment to supervisors, managers, and anyone who makes employment-related decisions. The content within LLRC focuses on the legal issues that affect those labor and employment related decisions.
